Visualizing the Fourth Sunday of Advent

The Fourth Sunday of Advent focuses on love. From the love of God giving us his Son to the Love we then share with each other. Focus on love this week and how you can radiate that piece of the advent story.

Visualizing the Fourth Sunday of Advent - Love

It is the fourth and final week of Advent for the year. And it’s Christmas Eve this Sunday! I absolutely love when Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday because it just seems to amplify the meaning and focus of Christmas on the true meaning. Allowing us to step back from the rush of the holiday season to pause for the day and celebrate the love and gift of the Christ child.

The final Sunday of Advent focuses on Love. Look at the verse in Matthew 22:36-40 as it says, “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?”  He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’  This is the greatest and first commandment.  And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

Faith, Hope, and Love, but the greatest of these is Love. This Sunday is a day of joyous celebration culminating with millions around the world celebrating with candlelight services to echo in Christmas Day. Spread love this week!
