LED Mapping
LED Mapping is similar in many respects to projection mapping with some obvious, and some not-so-obvious distinctions. We’ll get to those soon, but today, we’re taking a look at how designers and engineers accomplished LED mapping on the world’s tallest building. Standing at over 2,700 feet (compared to One World Trade Center in NYC at just under 1,800 feet) this massive building was outfitted with 828 meters of LED components down the side for spectacular displays.
Beyond the concept of just light and visuals, there has been a proposal to incorporate a comparison piece to display the sheer size of the building in comparison to other iconic structures around the world.
