Forrest Projection (Monday Mapping #106)

Monday Mapping

We’ve been doing projection mapping every Monday for almost 2 years, and it’s fun when our community lets us know about a new video. This week we show you a stunning forrest projection mapping project that literally blows our mind. The best part is that one of our own community members sent this to us.  You won’t believe the result of projecting onto a forrest.

Every once in a while on Monday Mapping, we give you more than just the projection video… a way to peak behind the curtain and see more than just what’s on the surface. A behind the scenes video to go along with it.

This forrest projection reminds me of Avatar or tubing in New Zealand looking at glowworms. I’ve been dying to recreate this experience ever since, what a brilliant idea. We love it when you let us know about great videos like this. If you ever find one, email us, Facebook us or send us a note on Twitter!
