Dynamic Projection Mapping
We are constantly on the lookout for amazing examples of projection mapping. And we definitely have a bunch on the site. However, it’s not just about projection mapping, but finding amazing techniques, technologies, and tips to help you create amazing environments.
From the Ishikawa Watanabe Laboratory, comes the “DynaFlash” technology that can project 8-bit images at 1,000 fps with only a 3 ms delay! Combined with a non-rigid surface and non-visible infrared ink, the projection is tracked onto any surface and the projected image follows it precisely. This could allow for some amazing projection mapping projects: projection on musicians, moving set pieces, and more. Check out the video below for more details.
Monday Mapping is our featured post on projection mapping and other creative projects we’ve curated to provide inspiration.
