As we take a look back at this past week, it’s hard to believe that next week is the last full week before Christmas. For many, this coming week will be filled with planning final Christmas weekend services, prepping content, music, and messages for Christmas Eve services, and trying to squeeze in family time, shopping, and a few hours of sleep. I just want to encourage you today to enjoy the season; to make sure you enjoy the moments.
So, let’s take a look back at this past week and help you catch up on anything you may have missed.
A Look Back
Monday, we shared a fun, 3D Christmas Projection mapping piece. This took place in Lithuania on the side of a massive cathedral. Using just two 30K projectors, they were able to tell a story and create an environment filled with awe and wonder.
Tuesday brought back our tribe talk series with Jason, Luke, and Nick discussing Intentionality. As a follow up to our discussion on Inspiration, we wanted to go a little deeper and dive into how we can be a lot more intentional with the elements that we’re a par of.
Wednesday, Greg Saflles from Shoreline Church in Knoxville, TN wrote on Lighting for IMAG and how integral lighting is to the bigger picture. There has to be a team collaboration with video and the rest of the tech team to create a cohesive, consistent environment.
Thursday: A big thanks to Ken Keifer for hooking us up with a great Christmas Candlelight motion for 75% OFF! This was a one day deal, but don’t worry, we’ll be back with at least one more for Transform Christmas.
Friday brought us the guys from CrowdControlGames and their 5 Simple DIY Ideas to Make your Christmas more Magical. These guys know how to take creative, simple elements that you probably already have on hand, and have a lot of fun this Christmas.
We’ll be back next week for another big week with great posts, deals, and much more. Be sure to follow #TWMxmas14 on Social Media and if you haven’t, like our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter. We’ll keep you in the know with everything going on and answer any questions you’ve got.
